I am writing a new book. It’s very different to anything I wrote before. Yet in a way, it is also about identity and being a foreigner.
What if a wasp (not WASP but the insect) transformed into a beautiful, smart and manipulative woman with a narrow waist and an ability to speak any foreign language with a perfect native accent? What would a wasp think of us, our life? She looks like a human, but she’s not. She can change back and spy on people as “a wasp in the wall”.
Life of humans as seen by an insect. It’s great fun to write, and I always liked magic realism.
